Pizarras Galesa
Our Spanish Galesa slate is sourced in the mountainous region of northern Spain, the slate bedrock in this area of Spain has been formed in an unique way. Thick layers of good quality natural slate were formed under pressure over 500 million years ago.
Pizarras Galesa is a company whose main activity is the development and marketing of slate.
Its objective is to move to a leading position in the United Kingdom market with its strong characteristics, quality control, the planning of its resources and above all customer service that can adapt to the needs and demands of today’s market.
There are two fundamental phases in the production of Galesa roofing slate, its exploitation & extraction process and the development phase these are important aspects of producing our slate.

Quality is our principle and base, therefore the selection control for Galesa roofing slate is rigorous for the end product process, its material is a blue grey colour in thin laminates with a smooth surface. The Galesa quarry is located in northern Spain.
