Welsh Heather Blue Flooring Slate

Welsh slate can be manufactured for a number of products such as flooring. The heather colour of this slate mixed with its flat natural texture makes it a popular choice for all aspects of projects from barn conversions to the modern new build. Slate is dense and can hold heat well it is regarded as one of the best materials to be used with under floor heating.

We have various standard sizes in our internal flooring range 12mm thick all our flooring tiles are calibrated in thickness (machined underside) this allows the slate to sit even on your required fixing surface.

Welsh heather blue slate has been mined in Bethesda, north Wales for over 150 years, today the slate is quarried in an open cast method but still to this day is produced with traditional old methods with the help of modern machinery.
