Slate and Stone specialise in the manufacture of natural stone products from the world famous Welsh Slate to the new imported slate sourced from reputable quarries Worldwide.

Our company is based in Wales and has a vast knowledge of the slate industry with hands on attitude & experience what ever the job may be from commercial & self build projects to home improvement.

Slate is a meterial that can be used for a number of items such as roofs, window sills, hearths, coping, cladding and more.

Slate was formed over 500 million years ago in the Ordovician period,slate beds are formed in compressed layers over many years this gives slate that unique dense formation and when mined, cut and sawn from the rock face can be used for a number of building products such as window cills, wall coping, wall cladding, building blocks, roofing slate, floor slate, bespoke and decorative uses.

We can manufacture slate into three finishes fine rubbed, natural, and flamed finish ideal for cills, slabs, tile's, coping, fire hearth and most bespoke items as seen in this picture.
