Brazilian Flooring Slate.

Brazil has been a good source of natural stone ever since it was discovered in the late eighties in Pompeu, state of minas gerais, right in the middle of the largest slate reserves in the World, from then slate and stone has been discovered in various natural colours from black, blue, green, burgundy to rustic multi coloured slate.

Slate from Brazil can be used for various products, it can produce various sizes from small to large in a blend of natural colours, this slate splits even and straight this allows us to produce big standard sizes that keeps its thickness consiten.

 Slate is also dense and can hold heat well it is regarded as one of the best materials to be used with under floor heating.

We have various standard sizes in our internal flooring range 12mm thick all our flooring tiles are calibrated in thickness (machined underside) this allows the slate to sit even on your required fixing surface.
