Welsh Slate

Through its aesthetic and durability qualities with a 100 year life expectancy Welsh slate is regarded as the best roofing material available today. Mined from slate deposits that were formed over 500 million years ago in the Ordovician period, Welsh slate has been roofing the world for hundreds of years. The quality of Welsh slate ensures that a 100 year old roof can be removed and up to 50% salvaged and reused.

Welsh slate comes in a choice of colour in heather blue and blue grey both have there own distinctive natural texture, both creates a unique appearance that enhances the architectural vision. These naturally made material is resistant to weather and temperature, making slate ideal to withstand all environments.
