Slate is a non-porous material this makes it extremely resistant to weathering and chemical attack, whilst water absorption of less than 0.3% protects it from frost damage. It is exceptionally durable, unaffected by temperature and it retains its colour even in UV light. In addition, it is non-combustible and compatible with all other building materials. Slate is easily maintained; making it an economical choice for all building purposes and is readily available in a variety of sizes to use for cladding or rain screen for new and existing. Available in either rtiven or fine rubbed finish.
