Walling slate is produced from our Welsh slate its non-porous material this makes it extremely resistant to weathering and chemical attack, whilst water absorption of less than 0.3% protects it from frost damage. It is exceptionally durable, unaffected by temperature and it retains its colour even in UV light. In addition, it is non-combustible and compatible with all other building material.
